The Osmonds are an American family music group originally consisting of brothers Alan, Wayne, Merrill, and Jay Osmond, along with their younger brothers Donny and Jimmy Osmond. They first gained fame in the 1960s and 1970s with their bubblegum pop hits and were known for their close-knit family harmonies.
Some of their most popular songs include "One Bad Apple," "Love Me for a Reason," "Crazy Horses," and "Puppy Love." "One Bad Apple" was their first number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and spent six weeks at the top of the charts in 1971. "Love Me for a Reason" also reached the top ten and was later covered by Boyzone in the 1990s.
In addition to their pop hits, the Osmonds also had success with country music, gospel music, and Christmas albums. They continue to perform and record together, with occasional reunions and solo projects as well.
